Pet safe plants

Most popular houseplants are toxic to cats and dogs, and almost nobody selling them says so. Every plant on this page has no known toxicity to household pets. Every plant that is not on this page carries a plain-English note on its own listing saying what it contains and what happens if it is chewed — including the one plant we sell that can take a person's voice for days. We would rather lose a sale than have you find out afterwards. If you have a cat that chews everything, the areca palm is the one to buy: it is safe, it is large, and large indoor plants are almost never both.
